Dr. Aasia Romano joined Women’s Health and Gynecology of New England in September 2024. A graduate of MIT and Harvard-trained, she brings over a decade of experience in women’s health with special expertise in abnormal bleeding, contraception, and menopause care. Dr. Romano combines advanced clinical training with a compassionate, individualized approach to help each patient feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
Dr. Romano is a graduate of M.I.T and UMass Medical School. She completed her residency at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital. She was an attending physician at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Gynecologic Surgeon for the Veteran Affairs Boston Healthcare System before joining Women’s Health and Gynecology of New England. Dr. Romano is dedicated to helping women find solutions for irregular or heavy bleeding, choose the best contraception options for their needs, and navigate the transitions of menopause with confidence. By tailoring treatments to each individual, Dr. Romano ensures that every patient feels heard, respected, and empowered to take control of their health.
